A game truck party is one of the easiest birthdays a parent can plan: a video game trailer pulls up to your home, a Game Coach runs the party, and the kids play for two hours while you relax. The first question most families ask is simple: how much does it cost? Prices vary by city because each Extreme Game Truck location sets its own packages. Here are the current prices for three of our markets, what is included, and how to budget for the whole party.
The short answer
- Jacksonville, FL: $399 for 2 hours or $325 for 90 minutes, plus $125 for each additional hour. Wi-Fi for online gaming is a $50 option.
- Orange County, CA: $450 for 2 hours, plus $125 for each additional hour. Online gaming is included.
- Louisville, KY: $425 for 2 hours, plus $125 for each additional hour. Wi-Fi for online gaming is included.
In every market, certain areas may require a small travel fee, so give us your address when you ask for a quote.
Jacksonville: $399 for two hours
The Jacksonville game truck is a 20-foot, climate-controlled trailer that accommodates up to 15 guests, with 6 interior gaming stations. Kids play on PS4 and PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles, take turns on a racing simulator and choose from dozens of popular games, with a personal Game Coach running the party.
Families on a tighter schedule or budget can book the 90-minute party for $325. That works well for younger guest lists or a weeknight celebration. If your kids want to play online, add Wi-Fi for $50. Because the trailer is climate-controlled, the party keeps going through North Florida's summer heat and afternoon thunderstorms. We also serve Orange Park, Ponte Vedra, St. Augustine and the Beaches.
Orange County: $450 for two hours, online gaming included
The Orange County game truck is a larger 24-foot, climate-controlled trailer that accommodates up to 24 guests, with 6 interior and 2 exterior gaming stations. The package includes PS4 and PS5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles, a racing simulator, virtual reality, online gaming and a personal Game Coach. Since online play is already included, the $450 price is the price for the full experience before any travel fee.
If you're comparing quotes, look at how many kids can play at the same time. Eight stations means a big guest list rotates quickly. We serve Irvine, Tustin, Santa Ana, Huntington Beach, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita and the rest of Orange County.
Louisville: $425 for two hours, Wi-Fi included
A Louisville game truck party is $425 for two hours and includes 6 inside gaming stations, 2 outside gaming stations, a personal Game Coach and Wi-Fi for online gaming. There is no Wi-Fi add-on to budget for. We bring PlayStation and Nintendo Switch games, and you can call for the current game list before your party.
What is included in every party
No matter which city you're in, an Extreme Game Truck party includes:
- The trailer and the setup. The truck is completely self-powered, so we don't need an outlet or extension cords. We just need a level place to park.
- A personal Game Coach. The coach sets up games, keeps turns fair, runs friendly competitions and keeps the energy up.
- Consoles and games. Multiple consoles and dozens of games, so kids can play what they love.
- Cleanup. When the party ends, we pack up and drive away. It's a party at your house, not in your house.
How to budget for the whole party
The game truck is usually the main event, so many families keep the rest simple. Here's a quick way to plan:
- Pick the length. Two hours is the standard party. In Jacksonville, 90 minutes is an option if you want to save. Add hours at $125 each for big groups or longer events.
- Count your guests. Jacksonville's trailer accommodates up to 15 guests, and Orange County's accommodates up to 24. In Louisville, ask us about your guest count when you book.
- Decide on online play. It's included in Orange County and Louisville, and $50 in Jacksonville.
- Check your address. Some areas need a small travel fee. If you live in an HOA community, check its parking rules.
- Plan food and cake. With the Game Coach running the games, you're free to handle pizza, cake and goodie bags.
Is a game truck worth it?
Compare it with what you'd spend taking a group of kids to an indoor venue, plus driving there and back. A game truck comes to you, keeps everyone entertained in one place, works in bad weather, and leaves no mess inside your home. For many parents, the biggest value is that they actually get to enjoy the party.
